Personality: While traveling from Violet to Azalea, Izuku almost tripped over what looked like sentient cotton in the grass. Though skittish at first, Mirko grew curious of Izuku and his Eevee companion as they camped by the side of the road, and over time he coaxed her near by offering her some berries from his bag. She grew a liking to him and didn't particularly want to see him go. Izuku acquired a bunny that day whether he wanted one or not, though he was happy to add her to his small team. Mirko is very sweet, if a bit shy at times, yet packs a surprising wallop during battle and isn't to be underestimated for being cute.

Personality: Izuku's first experience with Pokemon eggs came in the form of a little ghost with a skull mask hatching in the early morning hours from where it was nestled safely in his backpack. Thirteen immediately hatched into a very clingy, fussy little Pokemon. He seems to prefer Izuku's company over most others unless given time to warm up to them, and even then he can be unintentionally cold. He's not easily pleased and has difficulty with the word "no" at times, but is clearly a good mon who is trying to learn how to be better.

Personality: On a fateful trip into the Ilex forest, Izuku got lost. He was found by a terrifying beast in the dark of the woods, startled by a long hand laying itself across his shoulder. In a terrified panic, the only thing he could think of doing was what he'd been trying and failing to do for weeks: catch it. And that's exactly what happened. Now Izuku has a giant vine monster who took great glee in startling the trainer, though she hadn't expected Izuku's fearful reaction. For a long time trainers had been desperate to capture her due to her unnatural coloring, but Izuku didn't seem to have any clue what he'd actually stumbled into until his travel-mates got a very surprised introduction to his new companion. He named her Kamui Woods after a Pro from home (Kamui for short), and despite having spent so long avoiding trainers, Kamui was very lonely. Now she's happy to travel with Izuku and his group, though she still has a penchant for playing tricks on people.

Izuku was now 2-1 in terms of Pokemon just attaching themselves to him instead of actually being caught, but Hawks is a chill little guy who is just happy to be here. He enjoyed his life in the forest, but seemed perfectly content to stick to a trainer if it meant getting to see more of the world (and also getting free snacks). He has somehow become even MORE chill since evolving.

Personality: In a sheer moment of weakness, Izuku adopted this Type: Null after hearing about their plight at the hands of Sylph. Co. The thought of any Pokemon being created and then abandoned, unable to function properly as a "normal" Pokemon should hit too close to home for Izuku to be able to leave well enough alone. Now, he has a large dog-thing that seems very...grassy? It's fur is extremely thick and needs to be pruned more than brushed, giving the poor thing a sickly appearance. It doesn't help that it will completely become rooted into the ground if it gets too nervous (literally), but Izuku is determined to do everything he can to make this Pokemon feel safe and loved. He has since named them Mystery.

Despite having intended to come out with something other than a grass type...Izuku's curiosity was too great to leave the little apple behind. At least he lucked out in it's dual typing! Ryuko wanted to evolve the moment she met Fuji the Appletun, having received a good enough impression to want to become an apple pie herself. And so it was.

Izuku couldn't really leave the bird in good conscience after that, so...welcome to the team, buddy. Wasn't Izuku surprised to find that Manual is actually a force to be reckoned with when guided properly in battle...just a very difficult one to guide. If you can get him on the right path you're golden, but otherwise you might be working at it for a while...

It almost came off as a bit too determined...like he was showing off, or compensating for something. That something became clear to Izuku when he finally noticed an old burn scar marring the right side of the Pokemon's face. This Pokemon is clearly proud of his strength and doesn't want to seem weak even with his visible proof of weakness. It's a familiar sentiment. Nevertheless, he's a welcome addition to the team...if a bit arrogant at times.

Froppy simply works too well for the little tadpole that hatched from the egg he received from prom, though she only shares the name and similar traits of the hero and not much else. Froppy is very baby and timid, even moreso than both Thirteen has been and Mystery. She's easily startled into fits of crying, which can easily prompt everyone in the vicinity to join in. It's quite potent.

Personality: Like his parents, Snipe is an absolute hellspawn. Notoriously difficult to train and incredibly ornery, he's often getting kicks out of Izuku's attempts to get him to follow orders. If Izuku had issues getting some of his Pokemon to behave before, Snipe here takes the cake and then some. He's not truly malicious though, just the type of personality who gets bored with the goody-two-shoes and mundane. Isn't it more fun to cause a little trouble every now and then? About the only time he can get Snipe to calm down is by allowing him to chew on his hair, which he really seems to enjoy for some reason...

Meanwhile, Izuku just wants to live without his Pokemon trying to kill each other, dear Arceus.

Izuku has noticed he quite enjoys Kirishima's company in particular, since Kirishima is always so eager to train physically with his own Pokemon and is constantly offering himself up as tribute for sparring practice. The attention it gets him also doesn't hurt.

Personality: Midnight is special and she knows it. She FLAUNTS it. She deserves to be adored, she is a luxury few can afford, etc. To that end, Izuku capturing her...was not her idea of a good time, at all. She doesn't want anything to do with him because she perceives him as, well. What he is. A nerd. A loser. A LOSER caught HER! Izuku spends his days trying to endear the snooty Pokemon to him, but it feels like an impossibly arduous task. He's not exactly hip or chique, after all...but his earnest attempts to be kind seem to slowly be working that shell of hers open, if nothing else.

At this point they have joint custody with how much she wants to be with both of them at all times.

Moveset: Defense Curl, Sand Attack, Struggle Bug
Personality: A gift from Ochako for his birthday, this little guy hid underneath the nearest chair/couch/etc in the Pokemon Center for a solid twenty minutes before Izuku could finally coax him out into the open. He seems to be blisteringly shy and skittish, but once he's warmed up to you things aren't quite so bad. He and Izuku in particular get along like two peas in a (wim)pod, seeing as how Izuku isn't exactly always the most confident person either. He hopes by being together and training as a team, he can teach him to come out of his shell.

Personality: Given to him as a gift for his birthday from Shoto, Uravity is a very go-with-the flow type of Pokemon. She's very happy and seems quite carefree most of the time. She enjoys being outdoors and tends to just sort of...float off without meaning to, sometimes. Izuku often catches himself thinking he should just tie a string to her to keep her down like a balloon, but hey. At least she was aptly named?

Personality: This Pokemon is so very quiet. So very sad. He's very calm and sort of goes with the flow. He met Izuku during an excursion into the hidden temple, when Izuku saw him amidst a bunch of Kantonian Corsola and he looked so SAD he couldn't just LEAVE him there. Honestly he was doing about as well as he could have at the time, but he didn't mind being brought along with Izuku. Being in a temple for thousands of years, so long that you've become a ghost? It can be...lonely, for sure.
