CHARACTER
NAME: Izuku Midoriya
CANON: My Hero Academia
CANON POINT: Chapter 286
BACKGROUND: Izuku on the Wiki!
SUITABILITY:

Izuku’s personality in a nutshell is heroic, selfless, self sacrificing, and justice driven. His entire goal in life is to become a hero who can protect people and keep the peace, so there would be a lot of times in this game where his morality would be heavily tested. I have plans to have his demon’s personality be at odds with his own- one of a creature that is eager to cause mischief/trouble, thievery, hurt people, all manner of things Izuku himself would never even think of doing- so I think it would be a really interesting juxtaposition to play around with. It would make Izuku have to make some really tough choices and readjust the way he interacts with people since he’d likely not willingly go along with a lot of these things. He’d have to figure out a way to adhere to his ideals without getting himself killed in the process.

QUESTIONNAIRE:

Your character finds an injured okami deep in the woods. Its leg is broken, trapped under a fallen tree, but it’s clearly in good health otherwise. They know this type of youkai is able to discern the morality of their past actions, and can turn hostile to them based off that judgment. What do they do?

Izuku would help the okami with very little hesitation. It would be less that he has high confidence in his good morals being a factor in keeping him protected from the okami's potential ire (even though he'd have no reason to fear since he rarely acts in bad faith) and more that it's his nature to want to do everything he can to help, regardless of the danger he might be putting himself in. Even if he knew he'd done things in the past that the okami might turn against him over, he'd still be compelled to help out. In any case, Izuku would never simply leave them injured and left to fend for themselves.

Your character's worst enemy asks to meet alone by moonlight in a remote location, to discuss temporarily banding together against a larger threat. How do they respond to the invitation?

Coming from a world of heroes and villains- and especially so with his own worst enemies being considerably large threats- Izuku would not accept the invitation naievely outright. He's good hearted and kind to a fault to be sure, but he knows a potential trap when he sees one even if his enemy seems to be extending some sort of olive branch to him. He'd be more likely to agree to the meeting if he knew that peoples' lives were at stake, especially if he had no other alternative. In the end, depending on the scale of this larger threat, he would meet under the pretense that he'd have a backup plan in mind just in case things went sour. The fact that they'd be asking to meet him alone wouldn't matter much either way; he would rather it be alone if at all since he wouldn't put anyone he cares about at risk for his sake, even if that's maybe not the smartest way to go about handling it.

Your character has the option to lead a rampaging oni away from path where it would find and attack a lone, inhabited farmhouse. However, the only road they can distract it down leads to the city, where it will inevitably do more damage. What do they choose to do?

In any and all situations, Izuku's main objective isn't going to be "what will cause the least amount of damage/casualties" but instead "what can I do to ensure no casulties happen period?". Despite the danger, and despite knowing that the Oni could possibly kill him if he tries to face it head on instead of leading it elsewhere, Izuku would do what he could to keep the Oni in one spot so that even if it does break away from him the folks nearby might have a chance to evacuate before the Oni makes it to their location. Leading it anywhere near a city is completely out of the question, so he'd ideally attempt to keep it sequestered between the path and the road. In the event that he absolutely had no other choice and the Oni simply wouldn't stop, however, Izuku would prioritize getting the inhabitants of the farmhouse to safety before the Oni arrived.

A shrine of a powerful god offers your character a unique boon crafted to overcome the biggest challenge they’re currently facing. In return, it only asks to be able to possess your character for a 24 hour span of its choosing, which they will not necessarily get warning for. How do they feel about the exchange, and more importantly, do they accept it?

Izuku's reaction to the exchange would be mixed. On one hand, an offer like that would be difficult to pass up, especially when a lot of Izuku's personal challenges are ones with very large stakes. They don't just involve him; if he doesn't succeed, a lot of people could end up suffering. On the other hand, he knows that if he were to to blindly trust this god with the ability to possess his body suddenly and without warning for 24 hours at any given time, he could be potentially putting people- much less himself- at risk in that way, too. What if this god wanted to use him to hurt, steal, or even kill people? There's nothing saying that this god is benevolent, after all; just powerful enough to provide him with aid. In the end, Izuku would decline the god's offering. It's not a decision made easily, but at least in overcoming his challenge alone he'd be able to say that he did the best he could with what he had available to him in a way that didn't potentially open doors for even more damage to be caused. Does that necessarily guarantee his success? No...but the boon may not, either. It's a chance he'd have to take.

YOUKAI: Kotengu

INVENTORY:
-Shoot Style Hero Costume: Izuku’s hero costume. Costume includes a jumpsuit with a hood, a mask, gloves, boots, and a belt with pouches that contain a few small first-aid items like gauze and disinfectant. The gloves are augmented to allow him to perform Delaware Smash Airforce using his Quirk. The boots are equipped with steel toes that extend on the moment of impact when he kicks something to lessen the strain on his ankles when using his Quirk. None of the advancements to his costume will have any real power to do anything in game since he can’t use his Quirk, other than maybe the steel toes being able to protect the same way you’d expect them to.
-Casual Outfit: A t-shirt with the kanji for “shirt” written on it, a teal hoodie, sweatpants, and red sneakers.
-Izuku’s big yellow backpack. It’s empty, but large enough to carry the usual amount of things any student might need for school.
-An All Might figurine.
-A Campos notebook + a pencil to write with. The version of this brand in Izuku’s world is instead called Campos, a spoof of the Campus notebook in the image link.
-An All Might trading card.
